1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Launch Shots, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

2. Description of Service

Launch Shots provides a web-based screenshot editor designed for creating App Store and Play Store visuals. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and data on this site, including software, databases, text, graphics, icons, and hyperlinks, are the property of Launch Shots or its licensors. You obtain no rights to such property by using our services.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any images or content you upload to Launch Shots. By uploading content, you grant us a license to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6. Credits, Plans and Billing

Parts of Launch Shots are metered in credits. One credit covers one screenshot set downloaded for one device type, one set pushed directly to the App Store or Google Play, one language of listing copy published, one AI screenshot generation beyond your free allowance, or one block of AI design assistant messages beyond your free allowance. Each of these is counted separately.

Free credits granted with a plan are an allowance rather than a purchase: they reset on your billing cycle and do not accumulate. Credits you have paid for do not expire. Passes run for a fixed number of days from purchase and do not renew. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and run to the end of the period already paid for.

Credits already spent on a completed action are not refundable, because the action they paid for has been delivered. Where an action fails before it delivers anything — a generation that times out, an assistant message that returns nothing, a publish that the store rejects — the credit is returned automatically and you are not charged. If you believe you have been charged for something you did not receive, contact us and we will put it right.

Prices, credit costs and included allowances may change. Changes apply going forward only: they never alter what a credit you already hold is worth, and they never retroactively bill you for usage that was free when it happened. Material changes to the allowances described here will be announced before they take effect.

7. AI Features and Fair Use

AI screenshot generation, the in-editor design assistant, AI translation and AI listing tools are provided subject to the allowances published on our pricing page, and to per-hour rate limits that apply to every account. Free allowances that are described as lifetime are granted once per account and do not reset. Plans described as including a monthly number of AI actions are subject to that number as a fair-use ceiling; it is set well above ordinary use and exists so that automated or runaway usage stops somewhere.

You agree not to: access the AI features other than through the Launch Shots interface; script, automate or otherwise generate requests at a rate a person could not; create multiple accounts in order to obtain additional free allowances; resell, sublicense or provide the AI features to third parties as a service of your own; or attempt to circumvent any allowance, rate limit or metering described here.

Where usage is abusive, automated, or materially disproportionate to ordinary individual use, we may apply additional limits, suspend access to the AI features, or suspend the account. We will tell you why, and where the usage was inadvertent we will say what needs to change rather than acting first.

8. AI Output

AI features produce suggestions. They are generated automatically, they are not reviewed by us, and they can be wrong. You own the output you generate from your own content, and you are responsible for what you publish.

In particular, you are responsible for checking that any copy, claim, figure or feature description in a generated screenshot is accurate and true of your app before it reaches a store. App Store and Google Play both require that screenshots represent the app as it actually is, and a listing rejected or removed for inaccurate or misleading material is your responsibility rather than ours. We do not guarantee that any output will be accepted by a store, will rank, or will perform in any particular way, and any conversion guidance in the product is general advice rather than a promise of results.

To provide these features, the content you submit — your uploaded screenshots, the description you write, your listing copy and your requests — is sent to third-party AI providers for processing on our behalf. Do not submit personal data, credentials, or confidential information belonging to anyone else through these features.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Launch Shots shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Launch Shots operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
