What App Store Connect checks
Most rejected uploads come down to the same few things. These are the ones worth checking before you hit submit.
Exact pixel dimensions
App Store Connect rejects a screenshot that is even one pixel off the accepted sizes for its display slot. Export from a preset rather than resizing by hand.
No transparency
Screenshots are flattened PNG or JPEG files. An alpha channel left over from a design tool is a common reason an upload fails.
The first three do the work
Search results show the first two or three portrait screenshots, so most people judge the app on those alone. Lead with what the app does, not the login screen.
